Hazrat Usman (RA) was the third caliph of the Rashidun Caliphate, succeeding Hazrat Umar (RA).
He was born in 573 CE in the city of Mecca, in present-day Saudi Arabia. Hazrat Usman (RA) was known for his piety, generosity, and business acumen.
During his caliphate, Hazrat Usman (RA) oversaw the compilation of the Quran into a standardized written form. He also expanded the Islamic empire through military campaigns and established a system of governance.
However, his caliphate faced challenges, including internal conflicts and opposition from certain groups. Ultimately, Hazrat Usman (RA) was martyred in 656 CE, following a siege on his house in Medina.
